Hollow Forest

Have you ever just wanted somewhere quiet to visit and let the snow fall around you and just stare into the white forest? Hollow Forest is just that place then! I stumbled across this beautiful sim earlier this week, and found there to be some really nice architechture and builds, but mostly was just impressed with the winter scenery, animals, hills and the church building. Sometimes it's just nice to have a peaceful place to take in your day and prepare for your night! This is a lovely spot to take pictures if you're needing a winter backdrop.

Magic of Oz

Ding-Dong the Wtich is Dead! I landed at Magic of Oz, at Draxtor Despres’ advice, and was right there on the Yellow Brick Road! I had the choice to go to Emerald City, the Witch's Castle or Munchkin Land. Since Dorothy started in Munchkin Land, I figured it would be appropriate to go there myself (feeling strangely dressed for such a wonderful place..but I haven't any blue gingham dresses in my inventory!!)

Falln Angel Creations

I went looking for Halloween decorations. What I found was a treasure before my eyes. Falln Amusements /FallnAngel Creations Furniture Shop  is art, decor, amusement park, labyrinth all in a twisted manner. The amusement park is rusty, falling apart, yet you find yourself searching for more of it once you've been through it all. Everything is for sale in this sim. It's a store, but done in the fashion of entertainment! The bumper cars and the carousel are also not to be missed.

Selidor Island

According to Wagner James Au, Second Life is "...an Impression Society,
where any cultural, economic, or social contribution is valued in
direct proportion to its organic creative flair and sustained
effects."  In other words, appearance is everything.

PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors)

Recently I was introduced to a wonderful place called Dive World. Another of Lord Coalcliff's suggestions, but once there I realized I was acquainted with the builder, Kaikou Splash, of Splash Aquatics.

Whimsy

Lord Coalcliff handed me this really neat notecard the other day with some LMs for me to go visit. I told him I would definately check out the places, and quite possibly blog them!

The first place on this list that made me take great notice and think "Wow...this would be a great LM of the Day" was Whimsy. As this sign says "Odd, fanciful, capricious, flighty, unpredictable...Welcome to the sim with a sense of humor."

Antiquity Texas

Antiquity Texas is quite a build! It's an 1800s period sim. The capitol building is very detailed on the outside, and the inside there are historical pictures of Texan officials, as well as shops and period pieces. It is a role playing sim, and I've pasted a notecard with the information from the creator. Enjoy your look at Antiquity Texas today. Thank you Fearchar Enoch for recommending this site, and I'm sorry I had forgotten it was you!

Here's a notecard detailing the informtation from creators, Pixapao Xeno, President of Texas' Jocho Cortes, General of the Texas Army; and Jacon Cortes, Texas Attorney General!

Carnival of Doom

Well, I've literally been to Hell and back for this LM of the Day!! Well SL Hell anyway. In fact, it's best if you do die and go to hell in this sim because you experience more of the whole place! This place is "Beetlejuice meets Disney World." It's Rezzable's Carnival of Doom - Last Ride of your Life, where "the rides are deadly, [and] you may be resurrected from the dead to try again" Please also visit, SL Things to Do group member, Lem Skall's Flickr pictures of Carnival of Doom
