Students from the University of West Scotland's Collaborative Virtual Environments Class have created a build at VirtuALBA that showcase three immersive exhibits.
The first exhibit is the Sports Complex at Hampden Park which is where the main sporting events and the closing ceremonies will take place for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. You can watch sporting events and even take part in a game there yourself!
The second exhibit at VirtuALBA was my favorite, the Scottish Inventors Museum. Here you can learn about the many Scottish inventors that helped shape history with their contributions and inventions. I was surprised to find out so many great inventors came from Scotland!

The final exhibit at VirtuALBA is about Scottish Wildlife. There are animals located all around the museum, when you click on them, you'll receive information about that particular indigenous animal.
I found a great article that describes the project that these students did, and was amazed to find out that they had only been in Second Life for three months when the build was released!
