You may be familiar with Scottius Polke's work in-world. Up to this point, most of his work has included scripted three dimensional works. His imagination always explodes in prim form and the viewer usually can sense this otter has a very vivid imagination.

This past weekend, Scottius' newest work, a full interactive installation, called mushROOM opened at Zachh Cale's project Z gallery in Cetus. This build is truly a walk into the mind of an odd little otter, sometimes known as "the Odder Otter"! Scottius is a dear friend of mine, so I think I can say that without too much trouble!

If you don't think monsters live under beds, then you need to go visit this build! It's based on a painting he did some time back and he's truly made this room come to life. In fact, right as you enter, you are faced with a smelly sock that knocks you out!

There are mushrooms, amoebas, mold and some other sorts of things that might not yet have been discovered by scientists! Even the titles of the books in the bookshelf give you a little insight into the mind of this amusing artist!

While visiting make sure you take plenty of picutres to add to the SLTTD group's flickr page. Scottius will love to see all the additions of many avatars enjoy the place. Bring friends and jump on the bed like you did when you were a child. What's that? Oh....right, we are still kids at heart!! Enjoy!
